A vacancy has arisen for the posi on of Brewing Coordinator within the Brewing and Beer Processing Sec on. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the various processes that are carried out within the Brewhouse, Process Block and when required, Water Treatment.

 

The Brewing coordinator will be responsible for:

 

  1. Ensuring that the various daily processes are executed as planned, efficiently and in a timely manner.
  2. Ensuring that all established procedures and quality standards are followed in line with the Company’s Quality and Food Safety Standards as well as Occupational Health and Safety policies.
  3. Overseeing Brewing and Beer Processing ac vi es on the Automation Platform.
  4.  Communicating and delegating tasks to machinists within the respective shift .
  5. . Liaising with other departments when required.
  6. Ensuring that all documentation requirements are completed correctly.
  7. Liaising closely with the Brewing Process Leader and the Maintenance team in relation to maintenance intervention requirements and any other operational issues.
  8. Planning and carrying out cleaning of equipment and work areas when necessary and in line with the department’s cleaning schedules.
  9. Ensuring there is an adequate hand-over of works between shifts.
  10. Liaising with external stakeholders on collection of spent grain, yeast, waste and other materials.
  11.  Raw Material Management including upkeep of Stock Records.
  12. Contributing to the upkeep of the company’s Food Safety Standards, including presence during QMS internal audits and implementation of the relevant corrective actions.
  13. Overseeing of specific stand-alone processes including Non-Alcoholic Beer Plant and Yeast Treatment Plant.
  14. Assist in the training of Machinists.

 

Other requirements include:

  1. Ability to read and write in English.
  2. The Willingness to work on a shift basis (night shift when required). 3. Computer literacy including Microsoft  Word, Excel and Outlook.
  3. Ability to supervise a team of machinists.
  4. Flexibility and the ability to adapt and learn the opera on of new equipment as well as the Automation system.
  5. Willingness to embark on a training programme for an MQF Level 4 certification as well as other courses as deemed fit by the company.
